This post from Naila in

I believe Exquisite Terror will be a serious and intelligent publication.
Hello folks. I'm Naila; I used to be Bryn's deputy at the magazine. I just Googled him out of curiosity — we're no longer on speaking terms after I snapped and told him to shove it — and just feel the need to vent a bit. It's okay; I'm not going to attack anybody!
I felt humiliated on a monthly basis, it going out with so many errors (I also subbed). Hours, I'd spend, typing corrections rarely implemented... God. It was always a waste of time, but I could hardly refuse; each issue I'd cross my fingers he'd use them. I stopped looking at the finished rag in the end as I knew I'd just get annoyed. Trouble was, I freelanced from London, and HQ was Northampton.
I agree the content was speeding downhill, too. It got embarrassing. The legal threats and mud-slinging, the same. Why did I stay? Confused loyalty. You're absolutely right regards his fame-craving. Just ridiculous.
I'm working on a project of my own now, also a horror publication, and I'm quite concerned it'll be assumed bad just by association. Ho-hum. I hope people give it a chance. It's the polar opposite of GZ, at least.
I probably won't come back as I find these things horribly addictive, and I really should be working! As you were.
